Above the picture is Thuruthi Pitti/Thumpil Pitti, which resembles Adams Bridge. I was surprised to see it, as it also looks like a part of Adams Bridge in Sri Lanka. The area is located 1 km from the seaside and is situated on Karainagar Island in Jaffna. Local people believe that the area is related to Hindu history, so I am confused why it is not considered Adams Bridge. However, it is not confirmed, and there are no similar formations in the surrounding area.

Navigating there proved surprisingly easy, thanks to the calm waters of Karainagar Beach, devoid of dangerous waves or lurking sharks. To reach the destination, one simply needs to approach the local fishermen or tourist boat operators, negotiate the fare, and embark on a 10-15 minute motor catamaran ride.
Once arrived, Thuruthi Pitti/Thumpil Pitti revealed itself as a pristine paradise, inviting us to swim, snorkel, and dive in its crystal-clear waters. The best time to visit, particularly during the summer months, is between 8 am to 12 pm when the land is clearly visible. Just 1 km away lies the charming Kasurina Beach in Karainagar, offering a picturesque retreat to complement the exploration.
In essence, Thuruthi Pitti/Thumpil Pitti stands as a serene haven, easily accessible and brimming with natural wonders waiting to be discovered.
