My China Travel

Traveling the world has been an amazing journey since I began my YouTube Channel, Jaffna Suthan. It’s funny how the channel sparked my solo adventures! I owe a big thanks to YouTube for this opportunity.

If you swing by my channel and hit that subscribe button, you’ll find a ton of videos sharing my solo travel experiences and insights into various countries. Starting from Cambodia in 2021, I’ve explored ten countries, the latest being China.

My travel bug has taken me through Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Maldives, Dubai, Mauritius, Indonesia, and China. And trust me, this is just the beginning! I’m always on the lookout for new destinations, and I’d love for you to join me in exploring more countries, including my own.

Let’s chat about my adventures in these ten incredible places and talk about all the amazing things each country has to offer!

1. Enchanting Cambodia

Cambodia was where my YouTube travel adventures took flight. At the start, figuring out visas, flights, and money exchanges was a bit of a puzzle. I even booked my ticket before sorting out the visa, thinking it was a straightforward process. Turns out, as a Sri Lankan passport holder, I needed an eVisa, which fortunately arrived in my inbox three days after booking my flight.

My journey began with Singapore Airlines, with a layover in Singapore before touching down in Siem Reap. The warm welcome from the locals set the tone for my exploration. I opted for tuk-tuks to get around, not just for their affordability but also for the chance to soak up the local vibe and savor authentic village cuisines.

My time in Cambodia was incredibly enriching. Exploring diverse places, diving into the country’s rich culture and traditions—it was eye-opening. This journey wasn’t just about discovering Cambodia’s stunning landscapes; it was a deep dive into the heart of its people and their beautiful way of life.
